Amika Velveteen Dream Smoothing Balm 200ml

Translating to ‘friend’, amika is designed to be your mane’s new BFF. Born in Brooklyn and founded in 2007, the brand isn’t afraid to bend the rules. Championing itself as inclusive to all, it celebrates different tresses textures, types and styles. Enter: the Velveteen Dream Smoothing Balm (200ml), a nourishing lotion that shields your hair from humidity and holds your style suitably in place.

The key to your silkiest mane yet? amika’s Velveteen Dream Smoothing Balm (200ml)… a must-have if you find your hair affected by the elements.

Guiding you on your way to a smooth finish, this nutrient-rich formula not only nourishes your strands but also shields from UV rays and heat damage (up to 232°C) while delivering time-released humidity protection. Infused with wild cherry bark extract to inject some lustre-boosting shine and softness, it’s also powered by a conditioning polymer that moisturises and provides antistatic properties (AKA it tames flyaways). Finally, it wouldn’t be a classic formula from this brand without the inclusion of sea buckthorn, a superfruit famed for its richness of fatty acids and antioxidants to boost hydration and promote elasticity. Cue sleek, shiny tresses that stay in place all day long.
