Beautyblender Besties Bio Pure (Worth £24.50)

An icon of the industry, Beautyblender’s egg-shaped sponge has spawned a glut of wannabes but this is the original — a 360˚ edgeless creation that works to diffuse your foundation, blush, highlight (you name it) without any give-away tidelines. A beauty dream team made green, the Besties Bio Pure Set has united the apple green Bio Pure Beautyblender, Scrub Mat and Unscented Blendercleanser Solid to keep your face perfected and your beauty bag sustainable.

It’s time to meet your new BFFs, the Beautyblender Beauty Besties Bio Pure Set: the sustainable apple-green tinged team created to keep your tools pristine and your complexion perfected.

Composed of innovative BioPlush foam — made from a 60% plant base of renewable sugarcane — Beautyblender’s Bio Pure Makeup Sponge is an easily-seen apple green so it’s quickly retrieved from the depths of the beauty abyss (your make up bag). With the same renowned bounce and the ultra-plush softness you’ve come to rely on, the sponge is designed to reduce product wastage (by using it damp, you diminish absorption so more of the formula goes on your face). Striving to lessen their carbon footprint (they’re reducing water waste and off-setting carbon emissions), Beautyblender are committed to making their products and processes far more sustainable — from sponge to packaging to manufacture — they’re aiming to save over 1.58 million grams of virgin plastic in the coming year, by making new products with PCR (post-consumer recycled) materials, empowering you to make ethical choices without compromising your look. Here to take the dread out of brush and sponge cleansing day is the limited-edition scrub mat and vegan Blendercleanser, a match made in make up heaven to keep your routine clean (and green!).

Wet Beautyblender Bio Pure with water, squeeze out the excess liquid, using a towel if available and bounce foundation, powder or any other complexion product across the face for flawless results. Cleanse after each use to help maintain the integrity of the blender’s exclusive material. It’s recommended that you replace your Beautyblender every three months.

Rub Beautyblender over the soap, creating a lather; repeat if necessary. Gently squeeze Beautyblender or brushes and rinse again to remove any excess cleanser and water. Set out to air dry.
