BIOEFFECT EGF Hand Serum 40ml

Skin care by the design of three innovative, Icelandic scientists, BIOEFFECT is the result of a decade of research and a bioengineering breakthrough that saw the creation of a plant-based replica of EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) – the world’s very first, no less! That’s not even the only unique element to the range; the pioneering skin care is developed at a carbon-neutral, geothermal greenhouse in the middle of an Icelandic lava field (where else?!). At the heart of the brand’s range is this EGF serums, including this one for your hands. Boasting a formula that’s lauded for its unrivalled youth-prolonging effect, it helps strengthen, hydrate, and nourish skin.

Whether your hands are exposed to harsh and abrasive environments or you’re simply on the hunt for a new hand cream to stash in your bag, the Hand Serum from BIOEFFECT is a science-backed creation you won’t want to miss out on.

First point to note? The non-greasy, gel-like texture absorbs quickly, leaving your hands soft and well-nourished. Secondly, it’s formulated with a blend of effective ingredients (think: niacinamide, ceramide, and hyaluronic acid) to improve overall skin moisture, barrier function, texture and appearance. That’s not all; it’s also enriched with the brand’s unique Barley EGF – a moisture-binding and skin-rejuvenating signaling protein – to aid in moisture retention and keep skin looking dense and healthy. Moreover, it’s designed to support the skin’s natural collagen production to visibly minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Consider us impressed.

Water (Aqua), Diglycerin, Isopentyldiol, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Glycerin, Carbomer, Butylene Glycol, Glycosphingolipids, Sodium Hyaluro- Nate, Sodium Hydroxide, Barley (Hordeum Vulgare) Seed Extract, Egf (Barley Sh-Oligopeptide-1).

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
