Biossance 100% Squalane Oil 100ml

Melding leading scientific research with a staunch commitment to sustainable practices, Biossance is leading skin care into a new age: one that prioritises product efficacy without compromising the environment. From their vegan and cruelty-free status to the ethically and sustainably sourced squalane in every product, this line is setting out to change the beauty industry and your skin for the better.

Celebrating their core ingredient and bottling a bank of nourishing properties, the 100% Squalane Oil is a heaven-sent hydrating essential.

This ultra-moisturising formula encourages the natural cell renewal processes within your skin while sealing in essential hydration for lasting softness. Designed to mimic squalene – a natural molecule present in our skin that diminishes over time – this moisturising ingredient comes from 100% plant-based, renewable sugarcane and enhances elasticity as well as protecting your skin. Spoiled for ways in which to work it into your routine, here’s a few we love: smooth over face and body for instant (and featherweight!) hydration; as an intensive moisture mask for stressed-out lengths; layered over lips to battle dryness and prime before colour; to grant a healthy-looking glow any and everywhere; even as an ultra-soothing shave oil. What’s more, in a clinical study, this incredible oil was seen to accelerate cell turnover five days faster than that of non-treated skin! We are obsessed…

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
