D.S. & DURGA Concrete after Lightning Candle

Evolving from their Brooklyn roots (it all started in D.S.’s Bushwick apartment…), today D.S. & Durga’s luxury line is lauded by tastemakers — or should we say, scentmakers — and fragrance-ophiles around the world. Bottling a universe within each perfume and candle, each scent has a story for you to submerge yourself within. Concrete After Lightning is no exception. Electric yet nostalgic, the candle evokes that almost indescribable scent of city living after it rains — refreshing and comforting in equal parts.

Like the scent of water and air merging, D.S. & Durga’s Portable Fireplace Candle evokes the ‘je ne sais quoi’ of the city after an unexpected storm that breaks unrelenting summer heat; steam rising from grey pavements as hot asphalt and concrete are cooled by the rain.

Encased in peach tinted glass with a monochrome illustration that captures quite perfectly the spirit of its scent, each of D.S. & Durga’s evocative candles is designed to look chic on your mantlepiece as it transports you to a moment in time. This fresh scent melds top notes of panic grass, heart notes of summer rain and base notes of concrete and steam for a truly electrifying fragrance.
