Discothèque Lola at Coat Check 50ml

Conjuring the global haunts of those who live to party, Discothèque’s euphoric scents evoke the hedonistic thrill of music, mood and dancing ’til the sun comes up. Capturing the spirit of the world’s most hallowed dancefloors – from Studio 54 to Amnesia – each scent is a sensory snapshot of scenes to be seen in; from New York City in the ’70s, to Los Angeles in the ’80s and Ibiza in the ’90s, these fragrances kindle the freedom of letting your hair down. Lola at Coat Check Eau de Parfum (50ml) is no exception – the personification of Nell’s – the New York club scene’s naughty little bolthole for the names-to-know in music through the ’90s.

Eliciting the thrill of anticipation, Discothèque’s Lola at Coat Check Eau de Parfum (50ml) is an insouciant blend of rose and grapefruit, caramel and sandalwood – as enigmatic as its namesake, and the club at which she reigned.

With its velvet ropes and intimate atmosphere, Nell’s became the go-to club for all the hottest names in arts and music – from LL Cool J to Basquiat, Debbie Harry to Andy Warhol – and DJs played a melting pot of genres to the unexpected guestlist. Punk, funk, house and hip-hop, this scent evokes the club’s eclectic energy – opening with floral-citrus notes of baies, cardamom and grapefruit that evolve towards a heart of jasmine, lily, orris, caramel and smooth white chocolate. The base notes of sandal and cedarwoods, amber and vetiver then keep the late (late) night alive, leading you straight to the front of the glittering queue, where you’re wordlessly ushered downstairs.
