ghd Curve Thin Curl Wand 14mm

Loved by celebs, influencers and Cult Beauties alike, ghd has been making waves (poker-straight locks and curly ‘do’s) in the beauty realm since the beginning of the century by bringing hi-tech, salon-quality styling tools into the hands and homes of professionals and hair mavens everywhere. Leaders in hair research, ghd’s team of scientists have concluded that 185ºC is the ultimate temperature for long-wearing, effortless styles with minimal damage to your precious tresses – which is why this ultra-thin 14mm barrel curling tong maintains this exact temperature as you style, continually adapting to different sections of hair to ensure the temperature is kept at all times. Clever, huh? Delivering defined, even curls that last and last, this is bound to become the jewel of your hair styling collection.

Their narrowest wand yet, ghd’s Curve – Thin Curls Wand 14mm is expertly designed to create tight, defined curls — no matter if your enhancing your naturally curly texture, transforming your straight strands or creating flowing waves.

Powered by ultra-compact PTC heater — the technology that maintains the optimal 185ºC styling temperature across the entire barrel — this pro-level curler creates enviable, long-lasting curls without the need for extreme heat. It’s designed with a professional length cord with 360° swivel for flexible styling as well as a 38% longer (yet still lightweight!) barrel, making styling even long lengths quick and easy. Plus, the advanced ceramic coating on the barrel not only improves styling control and grip but it also gives a smooth, high-shine finish to your tresses. It takes safety very seriously indeed too: there’s a safety stand to secure it on a hard surface when you’re not styling, and – perfect for the forgetful among us – an automatic sleep mode that turns the device off after 60 minutes.

Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. For long-lasting, classic curls, section your strands into approximately 2cm wide pieces, then open the clamp and flat wrap the hair around the barrel. Close the clamp to secure the end of the hair in place. Wait 5-8 seconds and then open the clamp to release.

For soft, luxe waves, section your strands into approximately 2cm wide pieces, then twist wrap the hair around the barrel. Hold the hair in place for 5-8 seconds (the clamp may not close completely due to the twisted section of hair being thicker) and then release.

When finished, leave the tong to cool then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the tong or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage. UK three-pin plug, universal voltage.
