Loved by celebs, influencers and Cult Beauties alike, ghd has been making waves (poker-straight locks and curly ‘do’s) in the beauty realm since the beginning of the century by bringing hi-tech, salon-quality styling tools into the hands and homes of professionals and hair mavens everywhere. A classic cult-favourite and the tool the started it out, the Original Hair Straightener is back and better than ever, with new and improved ceramic heaters that ensure consistent heat delivery across each styling plate for soft, smoother, perfectly styled hair (and a whole lot less damage in the process!).

Make bad hair days a thing of the past with the return of the new and improved (yet as iconic as ever ghd Original Hair Straightener. The first of ghd’s mane-changing heroes, this wonderful device is the perfect all-rounder with the ability to create anything from sleek ‘n straight hair to boho waves.

Using improved ceramic heat technology and snag-free floating plates, these glide effortlessly through tresses to deliver the optimum temperature of 185ºC – ghd’s team of scientists concluded that cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. A round barrel allows for versatile styling, particularly when creating curls, while a staggering 30 second heat up time is a God send on busy mornings. For peace of mind, the device automatically switches off after 30 minutes and a universal voltage makes it the perfect travel companion. Good hair all day, every day? Sounds like a no-brainer to us…

The styler has a UK three-pin plug and is 68-75W.

For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.

Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. Once the Straightener has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.

Leave the Straightener to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.
