ghd The All-Rounder Paddle Hair Brush

Loved by celebs, influencers and Cult Beauties alike, ghd has been making waves (poker-straight locks and curly ‘do’s) in the beauty realm since the beginning of the century by bringing salon-quality styling tools into the hands and homes of professionals and hair mavens everywhere. The mightiest and most reliable of all hair tools, hairbrushes can transform an unruly mop, dishevelled strands and ‘bedhead’ manes into the crowning glory you’ve always dreamed of – yet they’re often overlooked. Cue ghd’s aptly named, All-Rounder Paddle Brush. This hardworking hair saviour will smooth, detangle and tame your tresses. Use it solo or alongside your blow dryer for a salon-standard blowout at home.

ghd stands for ‘good hair day’ – a motto that the All-Rounder Paddle Brush certainly lives up to. If you’re looking to create smooth and shiny salon-worthy locks at home, and receive multiple compliments, this is your new can’t-live-without-it tool.

Designed for mid to long hair, the All-Rounder gently detangles tresses without creating static (cue extra points from us). The broad flat base is ideal for styling larger sections of hair, whether you’re creating a Hollywood-inspired blowout or smoothing your locks into a sleek updo – although it’s just as good at ensuring your fringe sits perfectly straight, too. And just to make things extra easy and efficient, it has a non-slip handle so you’ll feel like a total pro every time you use it.

Blast your hair on a low heat and medium speed setting until 80% dry, then brush it through from root to tip using swift strokes, while following the direction of your brush with your hairdryer. Ensure your dryer’s nozzle is on to concentrate the air flow.

Top tip: For a straight fringe that sits perfectly, alternate between brushing to the left and right with the paddle brush, while blasting with your dryer on a low heat and medium speed setting.
