GUERLAIN Shalimar Eau de Parfum 30ml

Since 1828, Guerlain has pioneered fragrances, skin care and make up inspired by mythical creations with timeless savoir-faire. Paying homage to nature and art, the brand’s holistic perception of beauty has allowed its visionary designs to be recognised and appreciated worldwide. A Parisian alchemist pursuing an infinite quest of senses and daring innovations, Guerlain dreams up the Shalimar Eau de Parfum (30ml), designed to celebrate desire and eternal love (two things you’ll certainly be feeling for this scent).

Guerlain’s romantic fragrance is inspired by the passionate love story between an emperor and an Indian princess, Shalimar, which means “”temple of love”” in Sanskrit.

“Its fresh and delicious flight becomes a sensual mist, as you discover vanilla and the powdery notes within its soft and sensual base”, says Jacques Guerlain, the brand’s House Perfumer of this mythic fragrance. As for the bottle? It dates back to 1925 when designer Raymond Guerlain won first prize at the Paris Decorative Arts Exhibition. Its curves were inspired by the basins of the famous Shalimar gardens. The fan stopper with its sapphire transparency recalls the garden’s eternally gushing water. In other words, it’s a true objet d’art for your vanity.
