La Mer The Eye Balm Intense 15ml

The legacy of Dr. Max Huber – an aerospace physicist – La Mer was born of a serendipitous breakthrough; in experiments to restore his own burns from a lab accident, he discovered a fermentation process that unlocked the regenerating potential of sea kelp and other pure ingredients – now known as the Miracle Broth complex – transforming his skin for the better in the process. This revered complex is infused into every youth-prolonging formula, including The Eye Balm Intense

If, like us, you can’t remember the last time you felt (let alone looked) well-rested, allow us to introduce you to the ultimate (sk)investment piece: La Mer’s The Eye Balm Intense. Second only to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep, this rich, fast-penetrating balm eases the look of tell-tale puffiness as it deeply hydrates and softens the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

It wouldn’t be La Mer unless this formula was empowered by the renewing Miracle Broth – a complex of hand-harvested sea kelp that undergoes three-four months of fermentation to channel the extract’s invaluable self-regenerating properties. Suspended within a mesh-like sea gel, the Marine De-Puff Ferment in this balm works in harmony with rare tourmaline to energise and soothe your skin, diminishing the look of puffiness for a ‘wide-awake’ effect. What’s more, iron-rich hematite helps to diminish the visibility of dark circles, discolouration and unevenness, so you can revel in your well-rested-looking contours.
