Sun Bum Blonde Tone Enhancer

With the brand’s headquarters being split between Florida and California, the maestros at Sun Bum know a thing or two about living in sun-soaked climes. That’s why we ‘Trust The Bum’ – trust the ones who live on the beach; who need formulas to work even during the most intense heatwaves; who need these products to protect the ones they love. And since the sun doesn’t just affect our skin, we couldn’t wait to entrust our tresses to this affordable, vegan range too…

Yellows and oranges are all well and good when it comes to sunsets – and sun-inspired cocktails – but they can be the bane of many blonde-haired people’s existence (allow the over-exaggeration, we just get heated over our own brassy tones). That’s why we couldn’t wait to welcome Sun Bum’s Blonde Tone Enhancer: a leave-in treatment that helps to bring out cooler tones and it hydrates and conditions your hair.

It’s powered by antioxidant-rich violet extract to boost elasticity and help protect against the damage the prompts discolouration, ultimately helping to remove brassy tones in favour of the blonde you actually want. More than a colour-correcting hero, this leave-in formula is even infused with nutritious blue spirulina (it’s packed full of protein, amino acid, lipids and minerals) as well as argan oil (an extremely rich source of fatty acids and vitamin E) to soften your hair, countering frizz and encouraging silky and shiny strands.

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
