Sun Bum Revitalizing Shampoo

With the brand’s headquarters being split between Florida and California, the maestros at Sun Bum know a thing or two about living in sun-soaked climes. That’s why we ‘Trust The Bum’ – trust the ones who live on the beach; who need formulas to work even during the most intense heatwaves; who need these products to protect the ones they love. And since the sun doesn’t just affect our skin, we couldn’t wait to entrust our tresses to this affordable, vegan range too…

After a long day at the beach (we can dream), there’s nothing more important than finding a shampoo that refreshes and hydrates your sun-soaked tresses. That’s where Sun Bum’s Revitalizing Shampoo comes in! This daily hydrating shampoo cleanses as it delivers nutrients and intense moisture, thanks to its special cocktail of coconut oil, banana, and sunflower seed oil.

Crafted with all hair types in mind, this refreshing formula is the first step towards enviably sleek strands, fit for a slow-motion shot on Baywatch. Smoothing even the most hard-to-control hair, it also helps to maintain your colour as opposed to stripping it. The special blend of coconut oil, banana pulp and peel, banana leaf, quinoa protein and sunflower seed oil helps to restore lost moisture, repair damage and provide unmatched humidity-resistant frizz control. We’re obsessed!

In the words of the minds behind Sun Bum: “We don’t wash our hair every day but when we do, we use a quarter size in our palms, work up a good lather and then apply directly to the scalp to get our hair squeaky clean and rinse all the oils and sand out. Usually, we’re good for a few days afterwards.”

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
