Sun Bum Texturizing Sea Spray

With the brand’s headquarters being split between Florida and California, the maestros at Sun Bum know a thing or two about living in sun-soaked climes. That’s why we ‘Trust The Bum’ – trust the ones who live on the beach; who need formulas to work even during the most intense heatwaves; who need these products to protect the ones they love. And since the sun doesn’t just affect our skin, we couldn’t wait to entrust our tresses to this affordable, vegan range too…

Bringing the beach to your beauty ritual, Sun Bum’s Texturizing Sea Spray will help you emulate the expertly tousled waves that emerge after a day in the, well, waves…

Designed to prevent your hair from falling limp and lifeless, this texturising spray is powered by Hawaiian black lava sea salt, sea kelp and seaweed to reveal surf-worthy waves and body. Sure to wipe out the competition (read: that one salt spray you tried, hated and then never used again), the lightweight formula enhances strand separation and definition to achieve that beachy, windswept effect. Plus, it even protects your strands from the elements, forms a humidity-blocking shield over your strands to prevent frizz and lends juuuuuuuuust the right amount of texture with a matte-finish hold.

Water, Magnesium Sulfate, Isoceteth-20, Fragrance, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Cinnamidopropyltrimonium Chloride, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Sea Salt, Charcoal Powder, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

Spray throughout your hair (focus more on strands and less on roots.) Lift hair to target those layers beneath and dial in a piecey beach look. If your waves need a little extra help fighting frizz, especially on humid days, pair with a drop of Sun Bum’s Coconut Argan Oil at the ends.

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
