U Beauty The Barrier Bioactive Treatment 50ml

High-performance skin care – simplified. If like U Beauty’s founder, Tina Craig, you want to streamline your routine while optimising your skin care with the very best on the market – U Beauty is the brand for you, with clean, vegan and cruelty-free formulas that will slot right in to your existing shelfie. Their take on an intensive overnight mask, The Barrier Bioactive Treatment is inspired by the immortal jellyfish: a fascinating organism that’s able to transform itself back to its earliest stage of development by reverting adult cells into stem cells. In a similar vein, this youth-prolonging formula harnesses bioactive marine ingredients to restore dull, dry and weathered complexions to a supple and radiant state.

Powered by bioactive marine extracts, The Barrier Bioactive Treatment works overnight to trigger renewal and strengthen your skin barrier. The formula fuses cutting-edge research with restorative ingredients to deliver results at a cellular level.

Like the entire U Beauty range, the treatment is propelled by ‘SIREN Capsule Technology’: a proprietary encapsulation process which targets and thwarts free radicals by distributing key active ingredients to the skin only where they’re needed. What sets The Barrier Bioactive Treatment apart is the brand’s new ‘IMMORTAL SIREN Capsule Technology’. It’s formulated with bioactive marine ingredients that are engineered to act on the skin stem cells and essential growth factors to boost the proliferation of new cells. In short, it promotes smoother, more resilient skin that looks more luminous. In clinical studies performed on 30 volunteers, an 85% increase in skin hydration was seen 15 minutes after application; there was a 22% increase in skin barrier integrity after one application and, finally, 90% of volunteers rated it as ‘the best evening treatment they had ever tried’ after daily use. Colour us impressed…

Transparency lies at the heart of our philosophy which is why we have partnered with tech-platform – Provenance – to cut through the industry ‘noise’ and equip you with key facts that matter. A ‘proof point’ with a green tick means a third party has verified the accuracy of the statement whereas no green tick means that there isn’t independent confirmation (yet!), but that the brand has still supplied substantiating evidence (which you can view yourself).
