Discothèque Dark Imagination 50ml

Conjuring the global haunts of those who live to party, Discothèque’s euphoric scents evoke the hedonistic thrill of music, mood and dancing ’til the sun comes up. Capturing the spirit of the world’s most hallowed dancefloors – from Studio 54 to Amnesia – each scent is a sensory snapshot of scenes to be seen in; from New York City in the ’70s, to Los Angeles in the ’80s and Ibiza in the ’90s, these fragrances kindle the freedom of letting your hair down. Dark Imagination Eau de Parfum (50ml) is no exception – a transgressive blend of Damask and Moroccan roses, leather, patchouli and smoke – inspired by Morocco’s cult Theatro club.

Channelling a haven of immoderation in the heart of Marrakesh, Discothèque’s Dark Imagination Eau de Toilette (50ml) is an intoxicating evocation of the sultry desert heat and pulsing beats.

With illustrious guests – from Yves Saint Laurent to Mick Jagger – Theatro was Africa’s first music hall and it quickly became the go-to destination for those in pursuit of escapism. An olfactory snapshot that instantly conjures the club’s multi-sensory tapestry, this opens with the depth of Damask rose, black plum and saffron, which evolves towards a heart of rose and leather with the smokiness of birch tar. The base? An enveloping medley of vetiver, amber, patchouli and cedarwood – conjuring trysts beneath dark, desert skies. And let’s not forget the scent’s beautiful, cubic glass bottle and ‘disco ball’ lid, designed to reflect you as much as your signature scent does.
