Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 (100ml)

Molecule 02 is ideal for spritzing on during the summer (or whenever you want to feel as if summer is here!). This subtle scent is the antithesis of the type of overbearing, rich numbers that knock you for six. Instead, this is far more delicate and interesting – but just as alluring. As opposed to a floral bouquet, this is based around the single synthetic note ambroxan (a variation of ambergris, a rare and precious perfume ingredient). This vegan-friendly version (ambergris is a secretion from sperm whales) brings with it all the earthy, musky allure of the original, enveloping the wearer in a soft haze of warmth without being overpowering.

This beguiling concoction is based around the single synthetic note of Ambroxan, an aroma-molecule that harnesses all the sweet, earthy, musky characteristics of natural ambergris, a commonly-used ingredient in perfumery. Like its cousin Molecule 01, 02 waxes and wanes throughout the day, fading, only to resurface just when you’ve almost forgotten you’re wearing it. As with everything else Geza Schoen does, no part of this is overdone or “gimmicky”. If you’re after a signature scent, this unisex mystifying and electrifying number ticks every box, melding with your natural pheromones for a truly unique olfactory outing.

A couple of squirts of Molecule 02 is all it takes to get that Lynx effect – without smelling like a 15 year old school boy…
