Escentric Molecules Molecule 05 Travel Size in Case

From the enfant terrible, Geza Schoen, comes an edit of scents that defy the perfumery ‘rules’. Renowned for his signature, single-scent molecules, Geza developed a range of evocative, genderless perfumes that work with the wearer to wrap them in scent that’s completely unique. A celebration of synthetic aromatics – from Iso E Super (which typically acts as an ‘anchor’), to the wonderfully musky Ambroxan (which mimics the sweetness of ambergris) – Geza cemented his ‘cult’ reputation and turned the perfumery world on its head with the launch of his avant-garde offering. Don’t believe us? Peruse the reviews…

Ideal for those intrigued by the latest addition to Geza Schoen’s single-scent library, Molecule 05 celebrates Cashmeran which, as its name suggests, is subtly evocative of cosy cashmere sweaters with its smooth and musky character. Complete with a chic metal case for convenient transport, this makes a gorgeous gift for an aroma connoisseur…

Conceived in a laboratory during the late 1970s, Cashmeran has loaned its quirky, comforting aroma to a host of well-known scents since its creation, but never before has a perfumer showcased its idiosyncrasies, solo. A minimalist’s dream, this complex, multi-faceted fragrance marries musk and woody qualities – having both dry and creamy traits that make you long to nuzzle into it. Add the tang of pine and the resinous characteristics of amber into the mix and you get an idea of this molecule’s power to captivate. It’s as perfect for pairing with actual cashmere as jeans and a t-shirt.
