TRUDON Cire Classic Candle – Beeswax Absolute

Established in the 17th century, Cire Trudon is the oldest candle maker in the world and was responsible for perfuming the persons – and the palaces – of the French monarchy (until Napoleon staked his claim to the country and its première candle creators). With fans from King Louis XIV to ‘Her Madgetsty’ Madonna (the singer, not the ‘virgin’), Cire Trudon’s celebrity endorsements speak volumes about the quality and luxury of this beautiful brand. This Cire Classic is one scent that speaks to all sensibilities with its unique olfactory profile and amber-coloured glass that sits pride of place in every candle collection.

Paying homage to the process of candle-making, this scented candle emanates warmth — from the pretty amber glass to the notes of bergamot and honey that feel like a hug.

At the heart of this legendary establishment is bees and beeswax: Trudon’s motto is even “they (the bees) work for God and the King”. Here this love for the honey-bestowing creatures is embodied in the absolute beeswax of the candle. Light this sensation and take in the top notes of bergamot, honey and waxed wood that settle into notes of beeswax absolute, sandalwood and cinnamon. Doesn’t that sound like a warm winter’s day condensed into one very chic gold-embossed candle? What’s more, tonka beans and patchouli ground this unique scent for a truly relaxing, sensorial experience.

100% Vegetable Waxes (palm, rice, soy and coprah oils). Wick of pure cotton. Essential Oils.

For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.

It is important to trim wick before each use. When using the candle for the first time, keep the candle alight until the entire surface is covered in liquid wax. This should take approximately 1 hour and will ensure a more effective, even burn for all future uses. Depending on where the candle is placed, the 270g has a burn time of 55-60 hours.

2019 marks a turning point for the Maison, as Cire Trudon decided to financially help the Orne Dark Bee Conservatory, with the partnership of the Perche Nature Park. 4 percent of all sales of the Maison’s Cire candle will go towards the saving of Orne Dark Bees.
